Perched atop a restored 1920s brick haveli in the historic Shahi Mohallah, Andaaz Restaurant blends culinary mastery with unobstructed views of the iconic 17th-century Badshahi Mosque.
Andaaz is housed within an authentic multi-story pre-partition haveli, originally constructed with traditional small Nanaksahi bricks, hand-carved deodar wood balconies, and antique brass jharokas. The building was restored with utmost reverence to preserve its original Mughal and Colonial architectural grandeur.
Ascending through its warm, candle-lit stairwells, guests encounter a curated museum of subcontinental culinary antiquities, framed antique carpets, and sepia photographs of old Lahore. On the rooftop terrace, diners are greeted by one of the most breathtaking views in the world: the majestic red-sandstone domes and illuminated minarets of the Badshahi Mosque, framed by the gentle evening breeze of the Punjab.
Our kitchen remains uncompromisingly faithful to authentic heritage cooking. We do not use commercial flavor enhancers or frozen shortcuts. Every handi is cooked fresh to order in unglazed clay pots, every cut of meat is selected daily, and our naan dough is leavened traditionally and baked in charcoal-fired clay tandoors.
